Are you interested in what you do? Well, we are more interested in why you do what you do. In other words, what motivates you to do or not do.

To often people focus on just their strengths. It may serve to remind oneself of the Spanish proverb, Tell me what you brag about and I will tell you what you lack.

And what of the one who only sees the own lack or is unhappy with oneself? Lao Tzu said Knowing others is wisdom; knowing yourself is enlightenment. And Gandhi said I would rather have the whole world against me than my own soul.

These are inspiring aphorisms, which ZenBarakah gains wisdom from and helps you to understand who you are and define who you want to be.

Contentment is a dynamic state of self-awareness in which one can honestly accept that they have strived with excellence today, and aspires to be a better person tomorrow. It is also knowing that if tomorrow is no more, that you journeyed this life with a pursuit of excellence in a balanced manner. You know that you have been whole, and completed the circle time and time again. You are pleased with what you have been blessed with, thankful that you were given the opportunity.

The Path of contentment is possibly the toughest of paths. It requires much striving against oneself and accepting the reality of Truth as it is, and not how you want it to be. In accepting the reality, you seek opportunities that flow with the reality not against it. And because it is a tough path, ZenBarakah seeks to be your companion in this path of striving for such higher order excellence.
